How to Prepare for a Pranic Healing Session
Most people book a session, turn up, and lie down without giving the hour before it a second thought. That works. Nothing about pranic healing requires you to be ready, and there is almost nothing you can do on the day that will ruin it.
But there is a real difference between a session that feels like a nap on a table and one you are still noticing three days later. Preparation is a good part of that difference, and none of it is complicated.
What Preparation Actually Does
Pranic healing works on the energy body. The practitioner cleanses and energises, and the physical body responds over the following hours and days. You are not there to help with that. Your job is simply to not compete with it.
Arrive carrying three coffees, an unresolved argument and a phone that is still buzzing, and your system is receptive to none of it. Preparation is just clearing the channel so the work lands in something quiet. If you want the mechanics first, pranic healing explained covers what the practitioner is actually doing with their hands.
The Day Before
Nothing dramatic here. The aim is a body that is not already running on empty.
- Get a normal night of sleep. If an early one is possible, take it.
- Go easy on the drinking. A hangover turns the table into a long wait.
- Write down what you want help with in one or two sentences. Vague intentions make vague sessions.
- Drink water through the day. Not a flood, just normal.
- Skip the late-night doom scrolling if you can. You will notice the difference lying down.
The Morning Of
- Leave a buffer so you are not sprinting in. Arriving flustered is the single most common thing that dulls a session.
- Eat something light at least an hour before if you are someone who needs to eat.
- One coffee is fine. Three will keep your system humming through the quiet part.
- Put your phone on silent before you walk in, not after you have been asked.
- Come as you are. You do not need to be calm, positive or in a good mood. Nobody is checking.
What to Wear and What to Bring
Wear something loose and comfortable, cotton if you have it. You stay fully dressed the whole time. Pranic healing is a no-touch practice, so there is nothing to change into and nothing to prepare physically beyond taking your shoes off.
Bring water, and bring the list you wrote the night before. Most people forget half of what was bothering them the moment they lie down, then remember it in the car park.
What Not to Do
- Do not come straight from a fight, a hard deadline or a heavy gym session if you can avoid it.
- Do not arrive expecting to feel nothing, then decide that means nothing happened.
- Do not book something demanding immediately afterwards. Leave yourself an hour.
- Do not skip food entirely if you already know your body handles that badly.
If Your Session Is by Distance
Distance work follows the same principles, with one addition: you need to be somewhere you can sit or lie still for the hour. Not driving, not cooking, not at a desk answering messages. The distance pranic healing sessions page covers how the connection is made when you are not in the room.
After the Session
Drink water. Eat something light. Many people notice they are unusually tired a couple of hours later, and some feel nothing at all until the next morning. Both are ordinary and neither is a sign anything went wrong.
If you are unsure what you noticed, what energy healing actually feels like walks through the range of things people report, including the anticlimactic version.
Booking a Session in Sydney
Sessions run in person in Sydney and by distance across Australia, seven days a week from 8am to 8pm. If it is your first one, say so when you get in touch and I will walk you through the hour before you arrive so there is nothing to be uncertain about.
How often you come back is a separate question — how often should you have pranic healing covers that honestly, including when once is enough.
