Prana Healing
Prana is the life force that keeps every cell in your body running — and when it runs low, no amount of coffee fixes it. Prana healing works on that energy directly: clearing what has become congested and restoring the flow underneath your physical symptoms, so your body can do what it already knows how to do. Here is what prana actually is, how to tell when yours is running down, and what happens in a session.
What Prana Actually Is
Prana is the Sanskrit word for life force — the energy that moves with your breath, your blood and your nerve impulses. It is not a metaphor and it is not mystical decoration. It is the thing that separates a living body from an identical body that is not living.
- It comes in through the breath, sunlight, fresh food and clean water — you take it in every day, whether you notice or not
- It moves through energy channels and the major chakras, and each chakra feeds a different system in the body
- It is not the same as physical energy: you can sleep nine hours and still wake up flat if the prana is congested
- It responds quickly — most people feel something shift within a single session, even when the physical symptom takes longer
In pranic healing the practitioner does not spend their own energy. They channel fresh prana from around them into the areas that need it. That is why a practitioner can work with several clients in a day without running themselves down in the process.
Signs Your Prana Is Running Low
Most people describe it as tiredness that sleep does not touch. The tell-tale signs tend to stack up:
- You wake tired after a full night’s sleep, or you wake at 3am wired
- Thinking gets slow and foggy by mid-afternoon, no matter how much you have eaten
- You pick up whatever is going around, again and again
- Motivation has drained away — not laziness, just no fuel in the tank
- You feel heavy or tense in the chest, shoulders or gut with no clear cause
- Emotions sit flat, or you snap over small things and wonder where it came from
Long stretches of stress, grief, poor sleep and living in your head all burn prana faster than a normal day replaces it. Left alone, that deficit is where the recurring aches, the brain fog and the sense of running on empty usually begin.
How Prana Healing Works in a Session
Every session follows the same structured method, and it is always no-touch — hands work 15 to 30 centimetres above the body, never on it. Fully clothed, no oils, no pressure.
- Scan. The practitioner reads the energy field around and through your body to find where the congestion actually sits — often nowhere near the symptom you came in with
- Cleanse. Stale, congested energy is cleared out of the affected areas. This is the part that does the heavy lifting
- Energise. Fresh prana is channelled back in to replace what was removed, so the area is not left empty
- Stabilise. The field is settled and sealed so the work holds after you get up and drive home
Sessions run 45 to 60 minutes. Nothing is asked of you except to lie still and let it happen. Prana healing supports medical care rather than replacing it — your doctor stays your doctor.
How to Keep Your Prana Up Between Sessions
The work holds better when your daily habits are not fighting it. None of these take long:
- Ten slow breaths into the lower belly, twice a day — this alone moves more prana than most people take in all week
- Morning sunlight on your skin within an hour of waking
- Fresh, living food; prana drops fast in anything that has been sitting in a packet
- Walk barefoot on grass or sand to discharge what you are carrying
- Ten minutes of meditation on the heart or forehead centre, ideally before the day starts
- Sleep before 11pm — the deepest energy repair happens in the first hours of the night

In Person at Macquarie Park, or by Distance Anywhere in Australia
Sessions are held at Macquarie Park in Sydney, Monday to Sunday, 8am to 8pm, and by distance for clients anywhere in Australia — distance healing works on the same principle, because prana is not stopped by distance. I am a certified pranic healer, trained through the International Institute of Pranic Healing.
If you are tired in a way that sleep does not fix and you want to know whether this suits what you are carrying, get in touch. Ask your questions first, book a single session, and judge it by what you notice afterwards. You can see the full list of what I work with on the services page, or send a message through contact.
