Pranic Healing for Pets: Does It Work on Animals?

An animal cannot tell you where it hurts, and it will not lie still because a healer asked politely. That shapes everything about pranic healing for pets. The work itself is the same energy work I do with people in Sydney — cleanse what reads stagnant, energise what reads depleted — but the animal sets the terms. Some settle within a minute. Others get up and walk to the far side of the room, which is also an answer.

What a Session With an Animal Actually Looks Like

The animal stays with you, on its own bed or blanket. No lead, no restraint, no table it has to be lifted onto. My hands stay well away from the body and never make contact. I scan first — sweeping slowly down the spine and along the flanks, feeling for areas that read heavy, tight or stuck — then cleanse those areas and energise the ones that feel flat.

A session usually runs 30 to 45 minutes, shorter than I would give a person. Most animals give a clear signal when they have had enough.

  • No touch at any point — the hands stay above the coat
  • You stay in the room with your animal for the whole session
  • The animal can move, lie down or walk away; nothing is forced
  • Shorter sessions than for people — 30 to 45 minutes is typical
  • No supplements, no handling, nothing the animal has to swallow

Distance Sessions Suit Animals Well

Most of the animals I work with are never in the same room as me. A distance session runs from a photo and a name: you tell me the animal’s name, what you have noticed, and a time that suits, and I do the work while the animal is at home on its own bed. Animals tend to be relaxed about it — no car trip, no strange room, no stranger leaning over them. If your dog is anxious in new places, distance is often the better first step. The mechanics are the same as any remote session, which I explain in how distance pranic healing sessions work.

What Owners Actually Report

This is where pet content usually overpromises, so let me be plain. What owners describe to me: a dog that settles faster at night, a cat that stops pacing before a storm, a rescue animal that holds still for a brush for the first time. Those are reports from owners, not promises, and I cannot tell you how much of that is the session and how much is the extra attention the animal got that week.

What I can tell you is that this is complementary work. It sits alongside veterinary care and does not replace it.

When the Vet Comes First

If your animal is not eating, is vomiting, has laboured breathing, is suddenly lame, has swallowed something it should not have, or has been in an accident — that is a vet visit today, not a session. Anything that came on suddenly belongs with a vet. Pranic healing works on the energy body; it does not set a bone or clear a blockage.

Once your animal is stable, a session sits alongside that care comfortably. Plenty of clients use it during the recovery period after a procedure — the same approach I describe in energy healing after surgery.

Signs an Animal Might Benefit

There is no test for this. What usually brings someone to me is a change they have noticed and cannot explain.

  • Noise anxiety — storms, fireworks, the vacuum
  • Pacing, circling or restlessness that started recently
  • A rescue animal that stays on guard and never fully settles
  • An older animal that is slowing down and sleeping more
  • Recovery after a vet procedure, once the animal is stable
  • You have tried the obvious things and want something else in the mix

What to Expect From a First Session

A first session starts with a short conversation: what you have noticed, when it started, what the vet has already said. Then the session itself, then a few minutes afterwards where I tell you what I felt and what I worked on. You do not need to prepare the animal in any way — no fasting, no special bedding, no behaviour to practise beforehand.

How often to book is a fair question. Once is a reasonable test, and if you notice nothing, stop there. When people do continue, it tends to be every two to four weeks — I go through the reasoning in how often you should have pranic healing, and it applies to animals just as well. Sessions run in person in Sydney and by distance anywhere in Australia, Monday to Sunday, 8am to 8pm. If you are unsure whether this is the right fit for your animal, call today and we will work that out before you book anything.
