Energy Healing Treatments: What’s Actually on Offer
Most people searching for energy healing treatments are not after a theory lesson. They want to know what is genuinely on offer, what a session feels like, and whether any of it is worth their time and money. Fair enough. Here is the plain version.
I am a pranic healer in Sydney. I work with prana, the life force, using a no-touch technique that cleanses and energises the energy body. What follows comes out of sessions in my clinic and distance work with clients around Australia.
The Main Treatments You Will Come Across
In Sydney, energy healing is a shelf label that holds several different modalities. They are not interchangeable, and the difference matters.
- Pranic healing: work on the energy body with the hands held well away from the body, no touching. Sessions follow a set sequence, scan then cleanse then energise.
- Pranic psychotherapy: the inner-work side of the same framework, applied to emotional and mental patterns rather than physical ones.
- Chakra-based work: focused on specific energy centres, usually when the same problem keeps returning in one area of life.
- Meditation-based treatments: guided practices such as Twin Hearts, often run in groups.
- Distance sessions: the same treatment run without the client in the room, which is how most of my work with clients outside Sydney happens.

What a Treatment Actually Involves
No oils, no pressure on the body, no undressing. You stay clothed and either sit or lie down. The practitioner keeps their hands roughly 10 to 30 centimetres above you and works through the sequence in order.
- A short conversation first: what brought you in, and what you have already tried
- A scan of the energy body, hands sweeping well away from the body to find areas that read differently
- Cleansing: the part that clears what has built up
- Energising: the part that puts fresh prana back in
- A few quiet minutes at the end so you can settle before you get up
A treatment usually runs about an hour. You might feel warmth, heaviness, tingling, or nothing much at all. The absence of sensation is not evidence that nothing happened. If budget is your deciding factor, pranic healing cost in Australia covers the range in plain figures.
How to Tell the Treatments Apart
Ask three questions before you book anywhere.
- Does the practitioner touch you? Pranic healing does not. If touch is part of the treatment, it is a different modality.
- Is there a structure, or does it change every visit? A sequence the practitioner can describe to you is a good sign.
- What training have they completed, and how long have they been practising? Ask directly. Completed course work and years in the room tell you more than a title does.
Anyone who cannot answer those three in plain language is worth walking away from. The pranic healing process page sets out how a treatment is structured end to end.
In Person in Sydney, or Distance Anywhere in Australia
In-person treatments run in Sydney seven days a week, 8am to 8pm. A distance session is the same treatment minus the room: a time is booked, you lie down somewhere quiet at home, and the work is done the same way. Distance clients tend to describe what in-person clients describe, a quieter evening afterwards and an easier time switching off.
If you are not sure which treatment to start with, that is a reasonable thing to bring to a first session rather than something you need to solve beforehand. The services page lists what is available and what each one is for.
Questions People Ask Before a First Treatment
- Do I have to believe in it? No. Belief is not a requirement, and scepticism does not block a session.
- How many treatments will I need? There is no fixed number. Some people notice a shift after one, and patterns that have been there for years usually take longer.
- Can I keep seeing my doctor? Yes. This is complementary work that sits alongside medical care, not instead of it.
- What should I do afterwards? Drink water, and keep the evening quiet if you can manage it.
A Word on What a Treatment Is Not
Pranic healing is complementary work. It sits alongside medical care rather than replacing it. If something is undiagnosed, new or changing, see a doctor first. That is not a disclaimer, it is the sensible order of operations.
What the treatment offers is a way to work on the energy body. The honest way to judge any of it is one session and your own read on how you feel afterwards.
